Brief Description :

Rivets are used for the connection of channel and canted bearing plates. The channels are stiffened by mild steel plates. The sleepers are kept over elastomeric pads and connected to the bridge girder by hook bolts. The rails are kept on grooved rubber pads and are connected to the sleepers by 'T' headed bolts and nuts with mild steel inner and outer clips and spring washers etc.
